What is Bristol Students’ Wine & Food Society and why should I join?

Bristol Students’ Wine & Food Society provides bespoke wine-themed events for students at the University of Bristol. Ours is the biggest society at the University, hosting thousands of UoB students every year. The events are organised, run and staffed by UoB students. 

To ensure that Wine & Food Soc is accessible whilst maintaining the highest quality, we run three different types of events: 

Wine Parties - A Fantastic Alternative to Pre-Drinks.

Low-cost wine themed events with wine refills. No need to go to the bar for more - the different wines are served in waves and act as the social glue for these parties. A great place to both make and bring friends before heading out (out!).

Wine Tastings - Learn About Wine Tasting in a Sophisticated Atmosphere.

Our formal tastings are sponsored by different wine companies / wineries. Our tastings are for those who would like to experience / learn about the art of tasting and enjoy some quality wines.

Wine Balls / Festivals - Hedonism at its Finest.

Higher-budget events such as mansion and boat parties. Carefully selected wine and food pairings with incredible entertainment. This includes our Christmas Ball and Winestock - the End-of-Year Ball for University of Bristol students.
